My East Toronto training base. Hands-on strength and physique coaching at Fortis Fitness on Carlaw Avenue — a serious barbell gym where racks and platforms are always free, so we coach the lifts properly without waiting on equipment.
Fortis is a dedicated strength gym — ideal for barbell-focused coaching for clients in Leslieville, Riverdale, and the east end.
With 17 power racks and several lifting platforms, you never wait to squat, press, or pull. We build patterns before load, and the specialty bars (safety-squat and trap bar) let us train around tight shoulders or a cranky back. Sleds on the indoor turf handle conditioning without pounding your joints.
Best if you want to get strong: a proper barbell room with free racks and platforms, specialty bars to train around limitations, and a coach watching every working set — not a crowded peak-hour floor.
